These pages contain formula for calculating reactions at supports, shear forces, internal moments and resulting deflections. The formula can be copied using your browser's "edit-copy" functions and pasted directly into Microsoft Excel spreadsheet cells. The pasting process requires that you first select the cell, then paste the text only. The text must then be edited to change the variables into proper cell references and the appropriate references must be given data. The formula pasted will then calculate properly.
