SCOPE
AND USE
This information is to be used solely for my
use as references and NOT to be copied.
This
Process Standards/Specifications Supersession List (PSSL) authorizes process
supersession as specified, unless otherwise indicated.
Program
engineering limitations are specified within this document.
See Limitations section.
It
is the responsibility of the program identified in the Limitations column to
provide any instruction for action(s) to be taken in lieu of that entry shown in
the Replacing Process Document column.
Specification
Supersedence:
Table I lists process standards and specifications that have been
superseded by military, federal, industry, and the Boeing Company. This list provides current process documents, and is the
authority to allow (1) Supplier Management & Procurement to place this
drawing in all procurements,
(2)
Production Engineering to call out superseding documents on Assembly Orders and
Fabrication Orders for inside or outside manufacturing, and (3) Engineering
(Material & Process Engineering) to use replacing process documents in the
cross reference from process requirements documents to manufacturing process
instruction (how to) documents called out on in-house work instructions.
Definition
of PSSL Listing
Column 1 -
Specification, designation or process document called out on the design
drawing.
Column 2 -
Replacing specification designation or process that may be used in lieu
of design drawing callout.
Column 3 -
Limitations will identify restrictions regarding specific programs.
Column 4 -
Effective use date of replacing specification is date each entry was
authorized for inclusion in the drawing.
GENERAL
INSTRUCTIONS
A process
requirement specification that appears in the Replacing Process Document to be
Used column is valid for use as the superseding requirement for the
corresponding item found in the adjacent Process Document Called Out column.
